Location: Fully remote

Objective:

The PMO Team Lead is responsible for leading and managing a team of up to 15 employees, overseeing the successful delivery of the project portfolio, achieving target utilization rates, revenue, and profitability. Additionally, assisting in forecasting allocations and capacity metrics for new projects.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Lead the team by ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic direction and the centralized PMO model.
•    Manage the delivery of the project portfolio, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
•    Directly manage a team of employees, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance evaluations.
•    Develop and implement strategies for achieving target utilization rates, maximizing revenue, and ensuring profitability.
•    Collaborate with the PMO Director and other stakeholders to forecast future project allocations and capacity requirements.
•    Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to project delivery, resource utilization, financial performance, and client satisfaction.
•    Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across the PMO to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
•    Participate in business development activities, including proposal development and client presentations.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
•    Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
•    A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within a consulting or IT services environment.
•    Proven track record of managing project portfolios and leading teams in a PMO setting.

Skills:
•    Strong leadership and people management skills.
•    Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
•    Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.
•    Solid understanding of financial principles related to project management, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic consulting environment.

Experience:
•    Experience with Microsoft technologies and consulting services is highly desirable.
•    Previous experience in a PMO leadership role with direct reports and financial management responsibilities.
