Responsibilities
Does Exchange online, tenant to tenant migrations, moving customers from Active Directory to Entra ID or from other competing products to the Microsoft ecosystem sound familiar to you? As a Mergers and Acquisitions Architect at Cyclotron, you will make an impact on enterprise organizations by designing and executing merger, acquisition and divestiture projects. What does this mean at Cyclotron?
You will be the subject matter expert that works with Cyclotron clients to design and deploy industry-leading solutions that ensure a clear path to a successful merger, acquisition or divestiture. This will include some third-party migration tools as well as native Microsoft tooling.
The ideal candidate for this job will be able to establish confidence, trust and clarity on “day one” with Cyclotron’s clients and possess the ability to generate and execute technical designs based on client requirements to assist the customer to make the most of their investments in Microsoft technologies and services. You will:
- Work across Cyclotron business units to provide a holistic approach that combines your areas of expertise in mergers, acquisitions and divestitures with Exchange Online, Entra ID, and more.
- Work directly with customer teams to drive discovery, design, configuration, validation, piloting, deployment and support of Microsoft 365 and on-premises security capabilities.
- Contribute to the development of new mergers, acquisitions and divestitures services offered by Cyclotron.
- Engage with other Cyclotron and customer teams to get and share information to improve processes and security posture.
- Deep understanding of M365 Merger, Acquisition, and Divestiture Concepts.
- Demonstrated knowledge and skill with Microsoft cloud security solutions and services such as Exchange online, Microsoft Entra, Powershell, native Microsoft migration tools and Microsoft 365 security capabilities.
- Deep understanding of Identity and Hybrid Exchange messaging (Exchange 2013/2019) / Exchange Online.
- Experience with migration of on-premises Active Directory services (servers, applications, devices, identities, etc.) to Cloud Native architecture.
- Hands-on experience in migrating user/shared/room mailbox to O365 using BitTitan, Quest AvePoint, or any equivalent Migration tools.
- Experience in planning migration waves and end-to-end migration management
- Deep experience with migrating on-premises Distribution Groups and Email Enabled Security Groups to M365,
- Hands-on experience with M365 Domain Cutover Troubleshooting in Tenant-to-Tenant Migration.
- PowerShell Scripting needed for Tenant-to-Tenant migration.
- Hands-on experience with Entra ID Connect Sync issues and Troubleshooting.
- Knowledge about different migration methods (Onboard, offboard, IMAP, Cutover)
- Experience in identity, mailbox, distribution list & Microsoft Teams management
- Experience with Users, Groups, and mailbox creation/modification.
- Understanding of managing M365 licensing and its implications
- Experience in developing and training client Service Desk and Endpoint Support to resolve level 1 Office 365 Outlook, Outlook Web App, Mail flow, and licensing issues.
- Experience communicating/reporting migration statistics to client and internal stakeholders
- Expertise in the first level of migration-related troubleshooting.
- History with competitive security tools (Jamf, Meraki, Soti, XenMobile, Workspace ONE, Okta, PingFederate, etc.).
- Experience with migration of third party IDP to Entra ID (Okta, Ping Federate, SailPoint, etc.).
- Currently holds a Microsoft 365 Certified Security Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Associated certification.
- Currently holds a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and/or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Security Operations (SecOps) experience with Microsoft Defender XDR.
